Swapan Sadhan ‘Tutu’ Bose has stepped down as President of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, just days before the upcoming elections. Citing age and health concerns, the 84-year-old ended his near three-decade tenure, calling the club his “third child.” Bose, who took charge in 1995, played a key role in Mohun Bagan’s transformation, including its entry into the Indian Super League. His emotional farewell marks the end of an era, paving the way for new leadership in the iconic Kolkata-based club.
