Season Ends in Disappointment for East Bengal

East Bengal’s season ended in frustration. They finished ninth in the ISL and were knocked out of the Super Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Kerala Blasters. It’s hard to believe this is the same team that had high expectations just a season ago. Noah Sadaoui was the star for Kerala, scoring once and earning a penalty for the second. With this loss, hopes of a derby clash in the quarterfinals were dashed, much to the disappointment of football fans.
