Mohun Bagan climbed back to the top of the ISL standings with a commanding 2-0 away win over NorthEast United. Goals from Liston Colaco and Manvir Singh secured a third consecutive league victory for the Mariners.

Despite missing key defenders Subhasish Bose and Alberto Rodriguez due to suspension, replacements Dipendu Biswas and Ashique Kuruniyan held the line effectively. Bagan’s attack was relentless in the first half, but they had to wait until the 61st minute when Colaco broke the deadlock with a clinical finish. Manvir doubled the lead in the 78th minute with a well-timed header, leaving NorthEast United with no answers.
