Mariners Edge Past Sreenidi Deccan 2-1 in Kalinga Super Cup Opener

Mohun Bagan began their Kalinga Super Cup campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sreenidi Deccan. After conceding an early goal, the Mariners pulled level through Jason Cummings in the 39th minute. Armando Sadiku then netted the winner in the 71st minute to secure full points for the Green and Maroon side.

The match also saw impressive performances from several homegrown players. Abhishek Suryavanshi, Raj Basfore, Arsh Anwar Shaikh, Kiyan Nassiri, and Ashish Rai all stood out with notable contributions on the field.
