Habas Hints at Star Player’s Return for Goa Clash

Hyderabad match is now history for Mohun Bagan. Habas’s team is gearing up for their next match against FC Goa on February 14th. The Bagan coach is taking this match very seriously and hinted that the Green-Maroon brigade will have four players returning for this game.

Antonio Habas’s Mohun Bagan finally returned to winning ways in the Indian Super League. On Saturday, they defeated Hyderabad FC 2-0 at Salt Lake Stadium. Anirudh Thapa and Jason Cummings scored for Bagan in the first half, ending their four-match winless streak in the ISL.

Antonio Habas was visibly delighted with his team’s dominant performance. Several young players were given opportunities in this match, and they performed admirably. Habas said, “After a long time, we have managed to collect three points in the ISL tournament. We had more chances to score, and that’s why I’m happy. This team is performing very well.”

He added, “Being prepared for the next match is crucial for us, along with the participation of important players like Joni Kauko. Dipendu Biswas and Abhishek Suryavanshi have also risen from the academy and performed brilliantly. I hope they will become stars of the team in the future.”
In the press conference, Habas reiterated that he views all his players equally.
