Greg Stewart Joins Mohun Bagan: Experienced Reinforcements in Attack for the Mariners

Mohun Bagan has finalized yet another foreign signing for the upcoming season. Scottish footballer Greg Stewart has signed a one-year contract with the Green and Maroon brigade. Known for his exceptional performances in the Scottish Premiership last season, Stewart is a familiar face in the Indian Super League (ISL), having played stellar football for Mumbai City FC and Jamshedpur FC in previous seasons.

With a remarkable record of 29 goals and 21 assists over the past three seasons, Stewart is set to don the Mohun Bagan jersey this year. Head coach Jose Molina has reportedly been a key supporter of this acquisition.

Additionally, Mohun Bagan recently secured the signature of Australian striker Jamie Maclaren, the all-time top scorer of Australian football. The Mariners plan to announce Maclaren’s arrival on the grand stage during the “Mohun Bagan Day” celebration on July 29. Alongside Dimitri Petratos and Jason Cummings, Stewart’s inclusion is expected to bolster one of the country’s most formidable attacking lines.
