While East Bengal’s senior team struggles in the ISL, their reserve side is blazing through the Kolkata League. On Tuesday, they thrashed Suruchi Sangha 5-0 in the Super Six round, continuing their dominant form.

From the first minute, Bino George’s young squad showcased pace, skill, and determination, overwhelming Suruchi’s defense. Aman opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a brilliant strike, followed by PV Vishnu doubling the lead in the 17th minute. Jaison TK added the third goal nine minutes later, and Aman completed his brace before halftime.

Though the second half saw a slower pace, Mohammed Roshal capitalized on a goalkeeping error in the 72nd minute to round off the rout. East Bengal now leads the table with 40 points from 14 matches, solidifying their championship credentials.
