East Bengal’s struggles continued as they drew 1-1 with Chennaiyin FC in an away ISL match. An own goal by Ayush Adhikari in the 29th minute gave East Bengal the lead. Despite missed opportunities by Chennaiyin in the first half, they equalized in the 86th minute through Ninthoi. East Bengal’s inability to close out games remains a concern.
