CM Inaugurates ‘100 Years of East Bengal’ Documentary in Grand Ceremony

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the documentary “Shatobarsh-e East Bengal” (100 Years of East Bengal) in a grand event at Rabindra Sadan. The ceremony was attended by state sports minister Aroop Biswas, various cabinet ministers, MLAs, as well as top officials from Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting Club.
The senior football team’s head coach, Carles Cuadrat, was also present to learn about the club’s rich history. Renowned filmmaker Gautam Ghosh, director of the documentary, was felicitated by the CM. As recognition for the women’s team’s IWL triumph, the Chief Minister awarded them ₹50 lakh in state funding. The event concluded with a public screening of the documentary, organized immaculately by East Bengal Club.
