The Corporate Ball Game Season 2025
Eligibility
- Only full-time employees of participating teams can play the tournament.
- All players must produce a copy of their Company IDs at the time of registration.
- Players once registered can be replaced till 10 days prior to the Captains’ Meet (22nd February 2019).
- Only registered players can play the tournament.
- The organiser holds the right to forfeit match(es) and/or remove a team from the tournament on grounds of discrepancy in squad/team.
- It is mandatory for all participants to carry their Employee IDs along with the accreditation provided by the organisers. On failing to do so, the team/player is liable to be disqualified from the match.
- Only executives from participating teams will be allowed to enter event premises and they must produce original Company IDs on request of the organisers.
- Any request for postponement or change of match timings will not be entertained.
Players and Equipment
- Each team would have 11 players in the squad for the entire tournament.
- The playing team would consist of 7 on-field players and 4 substitute players.
- Exclusive match kits will be given to all 11 members of the team at the Captains’ Meet.
- Players must carry their own kits, given to them at the Captains’ Meet.
- Players must be dressed in proper football attire provided exclusively by the organisers – jerseys, shorts and stockings.
- All players are advised to wear shin guards and knee-high socks. Players playing without shin guards will do so at their own risk.
- Footwear: Moulded boots or Astro turf trainers; no metal studs are permitted.
- Goalkeepers are allowed to wear long track pants – not to be provided by the organiser.
- Jerseys are to be tucked in during the game.
- No players will be allowed to enter the ground wearing any piece of jewellery like rings, chains, watches, etc.
Match Duration & Conduct
- Matches will be of 30 minutes duration – each half of 15 minutes with a half-time interval of 5 minutes.
- Injury time is at the discretion of the referee.
- Matches will be conducted by two referees and one off-field official.
- Teams must report at 8am to register for schedule briefing on both the days.
- In case a team does not report on time, a walkover will be awarded to the opponent.
- Referees have the right to ask any player to leave the ground at any time during the match, in case not properly kitted or any sort of misconduct.
Conduct and Discipline
- The referee will scrutinise all fouls and misconduct, which will be punishable accordingly.
- Side tackles are allowed within the laws of the game.
- Any free kick is direct and the defending team must retreat at least 5 yards from the ball.
- Verbal warning.
- 1st offence, Yellow Card – 5 minutes sin bin.
- 2nd Yellow Card in a game = Red Card – player will play no further part in the game.
- Straight Red Cards – Result in one match suspension.
Substitutes
- Unlimited substitutions are allowed if the referee is made aware of the changes.
- Substitutions must be made at the substitution point.
- Substitutions can only be made when play has stopped.
Points System
- Winner – 3 points; Draw – 1 point; Loss – 0 point.
- Walkover – 3 points to team reporting for play with 1 goal in their favour.
✓ In matters of doubt not covered in the tournament rules, the decision of the Tournament Committee (Football Junction) shall be final and binding.
✓ The organisers, sponsor(s) will not be held responsible / liable in case of any injuries to the participants during the tournament. However, basic first aid kit and an ambulance van will be available at the venue during the matches.
✓ Upon agreeing to participate in the event, the participants and the participating organisation agree that they are doing so by their free will and waive FOOTBALL JUNCTION, its employees and all associates, from any liability or claims arising from any loss, injury, untoward incident during the matches.
