Kolkata Women’s League Kanyashree Cup Premier Division Kicks Off in Style

The Kolkata Women’s Football League – Kanyashree Cup Premier Division kicked off with great energy and enthusiasm. Held at Kishore Bharati Stadium, the event was jointly organized by the Government of West Bengal and the IFA. Sports Minister Aroop Biswas and Fire and Emergency Services Minister Sujit Bose were in attendance, along with IFA Chairman Subrata Dutta and other senior officials.
The event also honored prominent women from various fields, including special educator Sraboni Banerjee and pediatric oncologist Dr. Arpita Bhattacharya. A prayer song was performed by the NGO “Save the Children.” Former stars of women’s football were also present to mark the occasion.
