আদরের উৎসব – unforgettable moment on the day of Diwali initiated by team IFA

Thursday, on the day of Diwali Kolkata Maidan witnessed an unforgettable moment. We all know the meaning of Diwali (Dipaboli in Bengal); enlighten everyone’s life with affection, with care and of course with love. This initiative of I.F.A. made Diwali not only the festival of light but also the festival of affection (আদরের উৎসব).

Thursday after the practice session, the entire Bengal Santosh Trophy squad assembled to give Mrs. Jamuna Das her Diwali and Bhai-Fonta gift. We all know Jamuna Di with the name of our very own ‘Lozenge DIDI’. Getting so much love from IFA and Bengal Players, Lozenge Didi also became very emotional. Our very own ‘Lozenge DIDI’ demanded only one gift from her brothers as she says “I want only one gift from you on this Diwali, Bengali has not received the Santosh trophy for a long time, my only demand is that you give me the trophy as my Diwali and Bhai-Fonta gift”
